Final Results 2013 Season
Well the 2013 season is done and in the books. Mother Nature was not kind to us this year and we wound up cancelling 6 of 16 possible days of racing including the final day of the season. Not what we wanted to see for sure. Hopefully 2014 will prove to be a better year for weather.
As we have seen in recent years the car counts were not huge by any standard but were consistent and ultra competitive. Most of our races wind up being 5-6 rounds so a win is truly earned.
The final placements for our gamblers series came down to the final round of the year between Dave Anthony in his dragster and Jerry Rice in his trusty Trans Am, whoever won took 1st place for the season and the RU of the round took 2nd. Can’t get any closer then that! The weekend before Rice & Anthony faced each other and the win margin was .000!
We also had a strong field of Super Pro and Pro class cars competing for the season long points chase. It was a pity that we did not get the final event is as there were only 5 points separating the top 3 drivers.
